Our wellness section is for groups and individuals concerned about wellness in their community.

The suggested requirements are designed to make the program fun, educational and rewarding. Following along with the requirements will prepare the participant to complete the final service project.

All level requirements are flexible. You decide what works best for your group.


Exercise Helper Patch Program®

At the “Helping Hands” level children will learn about exercise.

Exercise Helper

Requirement 1: Make It!
Do an art or craft activity to get excited about doing an exercise project.

Requirement 2: Learn It!
Watch the video to learn about the importance of exercise.

Requirement 3: Do It!
Choose and complete one of the suggested age-appropriate service projects for helping to help someone exercise

Requirement 4: Earn it!
Receive the Exercise Helper Patch.

Dance Partner Patch Program®

At the “Friend” level children will learn how to make dancing a part of their exercise program.

Optional activity page download is provided for pre-meeting.

Requirement 1: Learn It!
Learn why exercising is important to wellness and how dancing can be used to get exercise.

Requirement 2: See It!
Watch the provided video to see how dancing can be a fun way to exercise.

Requirement 3: Do It!
Choose and complete one of the suggested dancing partner projects.

Requirement 4: Review It!
Review your project. Optional review worksheet is provided for younger achievers.

Fitness Volunteer Patch Program®

At the “Volunteer” level you will learn how to plan for a fitness volunteer project.

Optional word search download is provided for pre-meeting.

Fitness Volunteer

Requirement 1: Research It!

Find out why warming up before exercising is important and learn a warm-up for aerobic exercise.

Requirement 2: See It!
Contact local centers in your community and think about which ones could use volunteer help with exercising.

Requirement 3: Do It!
Make a commitment to improve the community by participating in a fitness volunteer project.

Wellness Advocate Patch Program®

At the “Advocate” level you will learn how to effectively advocate for wellness in your community.

Requirement 1: Research It!
Use the provided links to learn about the importance of physical fitness and ways to improve health and promote wellness.

Requirement 2: Do It!
Plan and complete one of the suggested advocacy programs to help improve wellness in your community.

Requirement 3: Review It!
Review your experience advocating for wellness and thank those who helped.

Wellness Delegate Pin Program

At the “Delegate” Level you will learn to organize and lead a wellness service project.

Wellness Delegate

Requirement 1: Choose It!
Use the provided links to choose a topic for your wellness action project.

Requirement 2: Plan It!
Learn how to plan and organize your action project including fundraising and outreach.

Requirement 3: Do It!
Join in during your project to supervise and provide assistance at all levels. Don’t forget to thank the volunteers, organizations and mentors that helped you complete your project!
